This pilot Women, Peace and Security project aims to carry out tailored research to better understand and identify existing peacebuilding and reconciliation mechanisms and forums that women are able to access in specific locations in Somalia. The overall objective is to better understand women’s roles in decision making processes and how women are able to have an increased impact through specific mechanisms and forums within Somalia.
A highly effective monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) officer is required to work within Albany’s research and innovation team. You will work on a portfolio of projects in Africa, and/or the Western Balkans dependent on the needs of the company. This particular role is dependent on funding, and will only be assigned if the proposals are successful. It is a fixed-term 1-year contract, with potential to extend, likely to begin 1st October 2020.
